The IS Information Security team continually looks for opportunities to improve our systems that keep Providence data and information safe. Starting this January, the team has been transitioning to a new vulnerability management tool that replaces Qualys, with rollout continuing into March 2022.
The new tool provides:
- More vulnerability data, reports and metrics, increasing our automated reporting capabilities
- Improved integration with ServiceNow and card/task assignments
- Detailed reports for patching and remediation
- API and automation capabilities
- More efficient agent reporting and scanning collaboration while using less bandwidth
