Over the last year, legacy wireless (Wi-Fi) networks have been transitioned to new Wi-Fi networks. The wireless networks listed below may experience network outages on Thursday, January 20, 2022:
- prov.infusion
- prov.medical
- prov.medicalp
- phsmeddev
- phsmedical
To avoid potential outages, access to legacy Wi-Fi networks is being redirected by the network team to the appropriate new Wi-Fi networks. However, outages may still occur and can be avoided by connecting to the new Wi-Fi networks before January 20.
What do I need to do?
Before January 20, 2022, to ensure continued functionality and avoid potential disconnection from legacy Wi-Fi networks:
- All wireless devices assigned to caregivers and/or personal devices must connect to “ProvidenceCaregiver.”
- All other devices (i.e., biomed, facilities, etc.) must connect to “ProvidenceMedical.”
