We had over 1,700 caregivers join our Wednesday, October 20, 2021 Open Forum, during which our IS & RESO execs covered a wide variety of topics.

  • A reflection from Adam Zoller, SVP, chief information security officer
  • EVP/CIO update from B.J. Moore, sharing progress on our recruitment of the new permanent SVP leader of RESO, news about VP of real estate, Jeff West’s departure from Providence at the end of October, and the recent IS & RESO executive leadership off-site for 2022 planning
  • B.J. congratulated our IS teams for their work achieving a fifth Epic Honor Roll and Magna Cum Laude-level for their grant program.
  • B.J. honored our individual and team winners of the Q3 2020 SMIle Awards.
  • An update from SVP of Strategic Technology Enablement, Chris Briggs, on the progress toward a single service delivery model for the new Clinical Technology Services organization of STE that incorporate IS end user support, AskIT IS service desk, and the regional clinical engineering (CE) teams that are transitioning from RESO
  • A cybersecurity update from Adam on Information Security initiatives to prevent, detect, and respond to cyberattack, as well as October cybersecurity awareness month #BeCyberSmart tips for protecting Providence against threats, and finally some changes to Outlook junk email handling that are part of our transition to the ProofPoint email security tool
  • An update from Covenant Health RESO partner, Mark Smith, regional design & construction director, on the Lubbock, Texas Hope Tower project
