Help Providence on our Path to Becoming Carbon Negative by 2030 by Taking Commuter Survey

Caregiver commuting is one of the key contributors to our organizational greenhouse gas emissions. And it is challenging to measure!

We are establishing a baseline for our current commuting emissions footprint with a 2-minute, anonymous, voluntary survey that we need as many caregivers as possible to complete by August 31, 2021.

Background

  • As a sector, transportation contributes 28 percent of US greenhouse gas emissions – more than any other!
  • As an organization, we estimate that Providence commuting contributes 10 percent of our organizational greenhouse gas emissions – but we are required by global carbon accounting protocol to quantify this as we calculate our footprint and progress toward becoming carbon negative.
  • With the survey, we can identify key opportunities for improvement and measure progress toward our goal.
