The Genesis ERP program continues to be one of IS’s strategic priorities to simplify the everyday experience for caregivers and enable our vision of Health for a Better World by replacing multiple legacy Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems with a modern, integrated solution.
The Genesis team recently achieved a major milestone of completing its second cycle of system integration testing, made possible by the hard work and dedication of IS and business team members. Upcoming testing milestones are complex and involve converting and testing large volumes of data that includes key HR and pay data for approximately 120,000 caregivers.
Based on this, program leadership has determined the need to allocate additional time to complete the Genesis solution, to support our organization’s complex needs and enable our payroll activities. To that end, Genesis go-live will be extended to July 2022. HR/Payroll, Kronos, and Finance will go live July 2022, with waved deployments for Supply Chain functionality to take place between July 2022 and March 2023.
Our top priority is delivering a solution that modernizes and improves the caregiver experience with user friendly tools and accessible, accurate data. Over the next few weeks, the program will focus on realigning key program activities to our new timeline, including solution build and testing cycles. At the same time, our team will be evaluating opportunities to realize additional value by accelerating high-priority business needs originally scheduled for post-Genesis launch.
