New Date: Imprivata Migration to Impact Legacy SJH Application Access on May 11

Updated April 30, 2021: The original version of this article that published on April 2 provided an April 14 migration date. It has been delayed to May 11. Also, a new workaround that will capture usernames/passwords from SJH EasyPass applications and transfer them over to Providence Imprivata has been identified and called out. See updates below.

In preparation for the upcoming Epic rollout at legacy St. Joseph Health ministries, users of St. Joseph Imprivata, the “tap and go” single sign-on application used in clinical environments, will be migrated to the Providence instance of Imprivata. Imprivata is used in conjunction with the EasyPass virtual desktop platform to provide, among other things, SSO for ease of access to applications. This change will further align Providence technology and security environment and is necessary for the Epic rollout.

UPDATE: The migration project team has identified a solution that securely captures St. Joseph Imprivata usernames and passwords to the affected EasyPass applications. This process ensures that usernames and passwords can be transitioned to Providence Imprivata with minimal caregiver impact.

UPDATE: When is this happening?
On Tuesday, May 11, 2021, legacy St. Joseph Health Imprivata users will migrate to the Providence Imprivata version.

UPDATED: What do I need to do?
If you utilize any of the following EasyPass applications, we recommend that you use your “tap and go” Single Sign-On before the migration date of May 11, 2021. This will ensure your username and password will be captured and transitioned to Providence Imprivata for you.

  • 5.0 – EP3 – Allscripts Touchworks
  • EasyPass – AllScripts Care Management
  • EasyPass – Cov Allscripts
  • EasyPass – Impact MD (HHF) v4.6
  • EasyPass – PICIS (OR Manager)
  • EasyPass – SJE – Teletracking XT

If you are not able to “tap and go” before the migration date, you will need to know your username and password for each EasyPass application to log in. You can locate your username and password by following the instructions on the Imprivata Migration project page.

If you cannot locate your login information by following the instructions above, or if you are trying to access any of the applications after the migration date, contact the AskIT Service Desk for assistance.
