Congratulations to our First Group of Year Up Grads – Class of Winter 2021

In partnership with Year Up Puget Sound, Providence IS welcomed five interns as part of a program aimed at fostering diversity within our talent pipeline and helping bridge the opportunity divide in our community and into STEM-related career paths.

From late-September 2020 to March 26, 2021, our five Year Up interns supported a variety of teams across IS TEO and IS Strategy & Centers of Excellence organizations.

On March 27, they were honored in an online graduation ceremony. Intern Alejandra Garcia-Vasquez was additionally recognized with a Year Up Core Values Award, peer-nominated recognition from her classmates for her great work.

Please join us in congratulating the Year Up Winter 2021 graduates, four of whom now transition to contract or FTE roles supporting IS.
