IS is actively supporting Providence’s goal of carbon neutrality by 2030. On a recent call with our Dell hardware vendor partner, IS was discussing reducing power consumption when they heard about an interesting tree-planting program of Dell.
Having such a close, strategic partnership, Dell approved Providence to be part of their Plant a Forest initiative, with Dell planting 1,000 native trees on behalf of Providence.
Just like Providence, environmental stewardship is important to Dell, who work with The Conservation Fund to plant native tree in national wildlife refuges and state parks across the U.S., helping reduce their carbon footprint.
