Two Ways IS & RESO Teams are Supporting Their Communities Through COVID

Kodiak, Alaska’s RESO team provides quarantine care boxes

Fred Katelnikoff of Kodiak RESO and the team thought of a great way to support caregivers quarantined due to COVID-19 illness or exposure. They have provided boxes of non-perishable foods, snacks, activities, reading material, and other items that might be appreciated by those who have to remain in isolation for the recommended 14 days.

If you want more information, please contact Glenda Fossum-Smith, exec. director, RESO, or any of the RESO caregivers involved:

  • Belinda Chambers, manager, nutrition and food services
  • Fredrick Katelnikoff, manager, environmental and laundry services
  • Janet Polum, specialist, operational support
  • Antonio Basuel, supervisor, support services

King County IS and Community Technologies Organize Gift Card Drive

Our friends in Community Technologies, in partnership with IS, continue to actively support the Seattle senior supportive housing ministry, Providence Vincent House, even during this past year challenged by COVID-19 limitations.

Lisa Stuart, Community Technologies executive assistant, is coordinating the collection of gift cards for their residents this holiday season.
