The TEO Cloud Engineering & Operations team is pleased to announce the launch of a new Azure Engagement Portal SharePoint site, which will replace ServiceNow and IS-to-IS requests for Azure-related cloud services. This site serves as a single landing point for customers to initiate cloud service requests and have access to other Azure information resources.
This site provides access to a new online Cloud Service Request Form that can be used for most Azure cloud service requests including subscriptions, SQL as a Service, application migrations, storage, AKS Kubernetes, and Databricks. Submitting via the new form will automatically create an Azure Dev Ops work item and place it in the backlog of the appropriate team for triage and execution.
Additionally, this Azure Engagement Portal will host a new Azure Self-Service Tool that will initially provision secure and compliant virtual machines automatically. The first release of the Azure Self-Service Tool will support provisioning of virtual machines with Windows OS. Subsequent releases will provide the ability to automatically provision Linux OS, SQL Server and Oracle database virtual machines.
