On-Prem VPN Gateways to Sunset Dec. 14

Our legacy on-prem GlobalProtect VPN gateways, such as GPNorth and GPSouth, will be retired on December 14, 2020.

This is part of the transition to GlobalProtect Cloud VPN, announced in August. This will provide a more modern, secure technology for accessing the internet from our work devices.

If you are using a PSJH device with GlobalProtect Cloud VPN: The correct gateways are already configured on your systems and connecting automatically to the new cloud gateways of US Northwest, US West, US Central, or India South. No further action is needed.

If you are still using the on-prem GlobalProtect VPN, meaning youare still connecting via GPNorth or GPSouth: You must do the following prior to December 14, 2020:

  1. Ensure you are using the GlobalProtect Cloud VPN. If you have not made any previous manual configurations to your VPN client, your GlobalProtect VPN should already be connecting by default to the correct modern cloud gateway.
  2. If you are unsure of your client or need help with your configuration, contact the IS
    Service Desk.

  3. If you would like to install and configure your PSJH device on your own, follow these instructions - KB0067720.
