Your feedback is critical for Caregiver Experience Survey – Oct. 7-21

[The following memo was shared with all of IS on Oct. 7, 2020.]

As I mentioned in yesterday’s IS & RESO Open Forum, the executive team and I truly value the opportunity to receive your input  via the Caregiver Experience Survey for 2020. All of our core leadership across IS, as well as our system leadership, use your feedback to identify actions we can take to improve our the experience of working in our teams and at Providence more broadly.

This year’s survey will look into how we are supporting our caregivers’ wellbeing through COVID-19 and making progress on our journey to becoming a more diverse and socially equitable organization.

On Open Forum, Doug Lewis, SVP of IS Administrative Technology, and the 2019-2020 exec sponsor of our IS organization’s IS Caregiver Experience Committee, shared some of the ways we have addressed your feedback from the last surveys and invested in initiatives to improve the following:

  • IS Caregiver Experience Committee, supported by a dedicated full-time PM
  • Deepening connections with senior leadership and system executive leadership through our Fireside Chats series
  • Transparency and access to IS leadership via our regular Open Forums and Open Forum Yammer
  • Partnering with Year Up  as part of our journey to address diversity, equity, and inclusion in our workforce
Mission Integration program offered to all IS pillars
  • Action plans across all pillars to address workload and burnout
  • IS virtual summer social, and other efforts to stay connected and supportive of each other
  • Recognition, such as quarterly CFO awards and our IS Summer of Appreciation bonus PTO Friday
  • Training resources, such as our OneTeam portal and Azure certification opportunities

Please see the slides that Doug shared on Open Forum, which include Caregiver Experience Committee representatives for each organization within IS.

Please stay tuned for the Willis Towers Watson emails with your unique link to take part in the survey between today and Oct. 21, 2020.

Thank you for all you doyour commitment to our Mission, and your continued engagement in making IS and Providence even better places to work!
