We are pleased to introduce Hari Atmakuri as VP of engineering, Providence Global Center.
Hari brings over 21 years of experience building enterprise-scale platforms, including e-commerce, customer relationship management, enterprise resource planning, AI/ML capabilities, and leading global distributed teams. Hari is joining us most recently from Google India, where he was the engineering director and site leader for customer conversation platform, mergers & acquisitions, technical integrations (aka Google Bets), and third-party technology (salesforce.com, etc.).
His recent accomplishments include strategizing new product areas such as customer 360, call analytics, and integration services. He was instrumental in enabling the launch of the Project Baseline COVID-19 testing program by Verily (Google Bets). Before Google, Hari worked at Microsoft India for 14 years, as GM for commerce services and Windows store services, focusing on digital transformation. He played a pivotal role in launching various Azure offerings and consumption-based revenue recognition capabilities for commercial customers. He has also worked at GE and Natsoft, implementing CRM and ERP systems across the globe. Hari is also the co-founder of healthcare startup Thermaissance.
Hari will be reporting Murali Krishna, SVP, PGC, and will be aligned with the IS Healthcare Intelligence organization led by GVP Brett Maclaren. In addition to helping build the Healthcare Intelligence pillar, as part of his broader role, Hari will also be focused on building out non-IS capabilities at PGC, including leading key innovation efforts and setting up potential incubation teams.
“Being a technologist, I don’t think there is a more relevant time than now to make my contributions to advance healthcare through technology,” Hari shares. “I’m super-excited to be part of the Providence family and begin this new journey towards Health for a Better World.”
Welcome, Hari!
