Information Security, under the guidance of Chief Information Security Officer/SVP Adam Zoller, has been very busy these days preparing to roll out VPN solutions, using the capabilities of Palo Alto Network’s GlobalProtect product, that will make our network and data safer.
Three highlights, with links to more detailed information:
1. GlobalProtect is replacing other legacy VPN tools that are being decommissioned.

2. Although not part of the initial roll-out, GlobalProtect will eventually allow us to use a “proxy in the cloud” approach to VPN and no longer have to remember to sign in to VPN” when we’re trying to access network resources when working remote.

3. Adam shared an opportunity to help test this new cloud gateway portal setting in GlobalProtect and the Information Security team would still appreciate our help testing this pilot within IS, ahead of its rollout later this summer.
