Meg Grimes
Information Systems (IS) is pleased to introduce Meg Grimes, VP, Epic Implementation.
Meg will be accountable for our Epic implementation team led by JoAnn Diconti. Meg will join us on April 13 and will be working out of our Lloyd Center office in Portland.
Her focus will be to develop new programs as our organization continues to evolve. This includes expansion of our services in conjunction with Community Technology, which until this month was part of IS, but remains a close partner. She will also partner with many of our executive leaders as they look to expand services in our markets.
Meg joins us most recently from Epic. Some IS caregivers may remember her as our Implementation Director during the initial Epic implementation.
After seven years with Epic, Meg relocated to Portland to be closer to her partner and family. Over the last eight years, Meg has worked as a senior strategic advisor in several large health systems across the country, advising IT executives and leading implementation teams.
Meg describes herself as a “former Epic employee, lifetime Epic enthusiast.”
Fun facts: Meg is a Midwesterner born and raised, and it’s excited about not having to shovel snow anymore. She enjoys spending time with her partner and toddler son, practicing yoga, baking, and watching movies.
JoAnn DiConti’s role remains unchanged, and the full Epic implementation team will report to this new VP position. Meg will provide support to JoAnn and our existing team, as well as help us grow our new services. We have seen opportunities arise during our COVID-19 support window.
Welcome, Meg!
Anand Chetanwala
Anand joined the IS Administrative Technologies team on March 30 as VP of Service Engineering. He is coming to us from Microsoft, where he worked for over 23 years and spent time in various roles covering IT operations, engineering, program management, and strategy/planning. He’s supported various line of business teams, including HR, finance, legal, support services, sales and marketing, retail, and has also worked outside the US, having started with Microsoft in the UK.
He has also been part of a few IT “startups,” now known as Office 365, has worked with infrastructure technologies leading change and release, and on Azure strategy and adoption across Microsoft’s IT organization. In his most recent role, he was focused on optimizing the processes and execution of bringing new technology into datacenters so that Azure could build and scale their services as quickly as possible.
On a personal note, Anand came to the US from London, England, where he was born and raised, which accounts for his accent and love of football (soccer)! Outside of work, he enjoys life with his wife, Bindu, two children, Myah, 18, and Shaan, 16, and their Bernedoodle Kiya. He also coaches club soccer (almost) year-round, as well as plays soccer and squash himself.
“I’m excited to join the IS Administrative Technologies organization and be a part of the team that’s focused on delivering an amazing experience across all our tools for our caregivers everywhere,” Anand shared.
Welcome, Anand!
