The Community Technologies program, which provides our IS technologies to other organizations and joint ventures, continues to grow. Since May 2019, ten new independent hospitals and clinics have joined the Community Technologies family.
With these new partners Community Technologies has grown to:
- 68 Epic Connect partners (53 clinics and 15 hospitals)
- 200 sites
- 1,211 providers
- 750,000 plus connected patients
Here’s a little about each of our latest partners.
Seattle Rheumatology Associates, located in downtown Seattle near the Cherry Hill campus, led by Philip Mease, MD, Clinical Professor at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle and Director of the Rheumatology Clinical Research Division of Swedish Medical Center. Seattle Rheumatology Associates went live on Epic May 13, 2019.
Align Spine Center, located in Fullerton, CA, is an orthopedic and surgical clinic with two board certified specialists and six staff. Their focus is providing comprehensive care to patients suffering from neck and back issues. Their go-live was May 13, 2019.
USC Care Medical Group, Inc. is located in Torrance, CA, and affiliated with Providence Little Company of Mary Torrance. The clinic provides advanced cardiovascular services for high risk patients. UCS Care Medical Group, Inc. joined the Epic Connect family on June 8, 2019.
Head & Neck Surgical Associates (HNSA), based out of Portland, OR, has eight board certified providers that attended both medical and dental school. HNSA is recognized as industry leaders in specializing in head and neck, oral, maxillofacial and facial cosmetic surgeries. Their go-live was on October 12, 2019.
Oregon Adult Medicine is a newly formed primary care practice that’s located in central Portland, OR. The clinic has two providers with internal medicine and emergency medicine backgrounds. Oregon Adult Medicine launched Epic in conjunction with opening their practice on October 12, 2019
Columbia Basin Hospital, located in Ephrata, WA, has 25 brand new single-occupancy rooms and 14 providers dedicated to providing quality care and services where it matters most; close to home. The go-live is scheduled for Dec 7, 2019.
Maternal and Fetal Medical Center of Southern California is located on the Providence St. John’s Health Center campus in Santa Monica, CA. Their new practice, focused on providing care to women experiencing high risk pregnancies, will open and go live on Epic December 7, 2019
Dr. Allison Garb and Dr. Roberta Smith are located in Pacific Palisades, CA. Their long-established internal medicine practice will go live on Epic December 7, 2019
International Community Health Services, located in Seattle’s Chinatown International District neighborhood, opened in 1973 and has grown to employ more than 500 people and serve nearly 31,000 patients at nine clinic locations with 27 providers. The go-live is Feb. 1, 2020 for six of their nine clinics and are part of a pilot group of clinics that will be implementing Wisdom, the Epic dental application.
Samaritan Healthcare is a multifaceted healthcare organization located in Moses Lake, WA. Organized as Grant County Public Hospital District No. 1 in 1947, Samaritan is committed to improving the health and well-being of the people of the Columbia Basin. The hospital has 47 beds, 238 hospital staff and 20 clinic providers. The go-live is planned for April 2020.
