Oracle ERP Heats Up with New Project/Solution Name and Video

As we’ve shared, the Oracle ERP Cloud is our new digital business platform that will eventually support business processes and bring data together across PSJH Human Resources, Finance, and the Resource, Engineering & Hospitality Group (formerly Supply Chain). It will also will ease the way of our caregivers by making day-to-day processes, such as looking up a pay stub far simpler.

The IS Enterprise Business Applications team under the leadership of GVP Frances Chao has been hard at work with Oracle and these PSJH partners laying the ground work and programmatic plan for the implementation.

Go-live date
Our target go-live of Oracle ERP across PSJH is end of year, 2020.

New project and solution name
You’ll start hearing more about the Oracle ERP initiative under the name Project Genesis. Genesis will also serve as the name of the solution for our users upon go-live. The ERP Steering Committee selected the name Genesis to refer to the new beginning this ERP solution will offer for integrating and modernizing our healthcare system with a centralized source for HR, supply chain, and finance data. Genesis is a key pillar and enabler of the PSJH Modernization program and Health 2.0.

A little buzz
Oracle was on-site with CIO and IS EVP B.J. Moore and Frances in July to film video footage that will help both Oracle and PSJH share our exciting partnership and also hopefully showcase to prospective IS caregivers how our team is truly doing inspiring, transformational work.

What’s next
We have a high-level timeline in place, and we are developing an adjusted project plan to be shared with the program team shortly and then at a higher level across the organization. In the meantime, our workstream leads can provide additional guidance regarding any next steps related to the timeline.
