[UPDATE: Reflects the postponed go-live date of November 7, after the prior-communicated October 17 go-live was delayed.]
Starting, Thursday, November 7, 2019, all caregivers should call the new Service Desk number 844-92-AskIT (844-922-7548). You can continue to use the existing numbers and extensions to reach the Service Desk. Due to audio quality issues, the original go-live had to be postponed.
However, if you’re remote or outside of PSJH, please call the new number 844-92-AskIT (844-922-7548), starting on November 7.
Phone tree options
We previously shared the future phone tree options. For this newsletter, we’re sharing the reasons a caregiver would select each one.
- Option 1 – Physician
Used for MDs, any credentialed providers (i.e. nurse practitioner), PACS image moves, or medical staff supporting an MD request
- Option 2 – Password reset
Used for password resets or account unlocks on any application
- Option 3 – Epic
Used for all Epic questions or issues
- Option 4 – Other IT issues
Used for other computer-related problems, such as failed hard drives that aren’t related to password resets or physician requests
- Option 5 – Network Operations Center (NOC)
Used for major incidents (MIs) – downed network or server, server issues, multiple IS issues, or IS issues at multiple locations. This is used for both location and enterprise wide escalated issues.
