We recently shared the learnings from our June pilot rollout of Office 365 Outlook Online to about 2,000 frontline clinical caregivers at our St. Mary Medical Center and Heritage sites in Apple Valley, CA. Now, we’re ready for the first major waves of O365 transitions for our clinical caregivers, focused on Southern California St. Joseph Health ministries and the General Nursing populations of Spokane’s Sacred Heart Medical Center and Holy Family Hospital in July and August. This will bring the Office 365 tools and our modern workplace experience to approximately 30,000 clinical caregivers.
Why these two groups of ministries/caregivers first?
- Legacy St. Joseph Health mailboxes must be migrated prior to our ActiveDirectory integration project waves to ensure there is no disruption.
- Spokane’s Sacred Heart and Holy Family General Nurses (job code 45000) are part of our Day 1 Onboarding Improvement Initiative, geared toward positively impacting the technology experience upon onboarding. Transitioning to O365 Outlook Online supports this and has the added benefit of bringing these caregivers the functionality of the other O365 tools, including OneDrive, SharePoint Online, Microsoft Teams, Yammer, and more.
