IS core leaders received an “Emergency Change Advisory” regarding an adjustment made to the timing of Service Catalog approval emails from ServiceNow.
Effective with all new Service Catalog requests made in ServiceNow starting the evening of Thursday, January 17, 2019, the approval reminder email timing will change to help address incorrect routing and potential cancellation of requests due to approval delays. Besides the reminder email timing change, item cancellation will now occur only after 15 days, vs. the prior four-day window.
